Pearl Weed (Hemianthus micranthemoides) is a versatile, fast-growing aquarium plant cherished for its tiny, round leaves and bright green color that brings a fresh, lively look to any tank. When grown densely, it forms lush, bushy clusters that resemble miniature underwater shrubs, making it perfect for adding texture and depth to aquascapes. In smaller tanks, it can even be trimmed into a soft, low carpet, while in larger tanks it serves beautifully as a compact midground filler.

This adaptable stem plant thrives in a variety of conditions and responds quickly to trimming, encouraging fuller, bushier growth. It grows best under moderate to high lighting with nutrient-rich substrate and optional CO₂ supplementation for vibrant color and compact form.
