Bucephalandra ‘Catherinae’ is a beautiful and distinctive aquatic plant prized for its compact growth, richly colored foliage, and elegant leaf texture. This popular Bucephalandra variety is grown fully submersed, making it ready to add directly to established aquariums without requiring an emersed-to-submersed transition. Its slow growth rate and easy-care nature make it an excellent choice for planted aquariums, shrimp tanks, nano setups, and low-tech aquascapes. Like other Bucephalandra, Catherinae grows from a rhizome and is best attached to rocks, driftwood, or other hardscape rather than buried beneath the substrate. Its detailed foliage and compact form make it an excellent choice for adding texture and visual interest to natural aquascapes.
