Bring timeless beauty and effortless care to your aquarium with our Assorted Bare Root Anubias. Available Sizes:

  • Small
  • Medium
  • Large
  • Extra Large

Important: Plant size is based on the typical mature size and fullness of the specific variety selected. Because Anubias species naturally vary in leaf size and growth habit, a Large Anubias Nana may be significantly smaller than a Large Anubias Congensis, while still meeting our size standards for that variety.

Varieties may include (but are not limited to):

  • Anubias Nana
  • Anubias Nana Petite
  • Anubias Congensis
  • Anubias Barteri
  • Anubias Coffeefolia
  • Anubias Frazeri
  • Anubias Hastifolia
  • Anubias Golden
  • Anubias Broad Leaf
  • Other aquarium-safe Anubias cultivars and species

Each plant is individually selected for health, color, and root development.

About Anubias

Anubias are among the most durable and beginner-friendly aquarium plants available. Known for their thick leaves, slow growth, and adaptability, they thrive in a wide range of aquarium conditions and require very little maintenance.

Unlike traditional rooted plants, Anubias grow from a horizontal rhizome that should remain above the substrate. They perform best when attached to rocks, driftwood, or other hardscape using thread, fishing line, super glue gel, or by allowing roots to naturally anchor themselves over time.

Their sturdy leaves resist damage from many fish species and provide excellent resting surfaces for shrimp, bettas, and other aquarium inhabitants.
