Anubias congensis is an elegant aquarium plant recognized for its long, lance-shaped leaves that add graceful vertical lines to aquascapes. Its deep green foliage creates a striking contrast against rocks, driftwood, and other plants, making it a popular choice for both display and natural-style tanks. Like other Anubias species, it’s incredibly hardy, adaptable to a wide range of water parameters, and thrives without CO₂ injection.
This slow-growing, rhizome-based plant does best when attached to hardscape rather than buried in substrate, ensuring the rhizome stays healthy and rot-free. Its tough leaves make it an excellent choice for tanks with cichlids, goldfish, or other fish that may nip at softer plants.
